A Common Pasture was established in 2024 as a collaborative effort between four small-scale livestock farms located in Southwestern Michigan: Blooming Acres Farm (Bloomingdale), Sandy Creek Farm (South Haven), Thunderfoot Farms (Paw Paw), and Silly Goose Acres (Plainwell). United by a shared commitment to regenerative agriculture, soil health, animal welfare, and environmental stewardship, these farms came together to create a more sustainable, community-focused approach to raising and marketing pasture-based meats—with a focus on pasture-raised pork.
